On 07-25-2017 the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department executed arrest warrants and a search warrant in the Heidelberg area in reference to an investigation into the distribution of controlled substances.

As a result of the investigation, Kenneth Ray Brown was charged with sale of a controlled substance ( 1 count), sale of a controlled substance within 1500 feet of a church or daycare ( 2 counts), possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (2 counts), possession of controlled substance ( 1 count), and child abuse/ endangerment ( 1 count).

James Edward Arrington was also arrested as part of the investigation. Arrington was charged with sale of a controlled substance within 1500 feet of a church or daycare ( 2 counts).

Both are being held at the Jasper County Jail. Bond will be set at a later time.

Jasper County Sheriff’s Department arrested Justin B. Sansom for sale of a controlled substance and child abuse/endangerment. The arrest is the result of an investigation into illegal narcotic activity in the Oak Bowery and Heidelberg areas. Sansom is currently being held at the Jasper County Jail. Bond will be set at a later time.
